Welcome to Champion House

A historic home in downtown Belleville, Illinois, constructed in 1854 by wealthy widow Patience Champion.

Champion House lies within the Old Belleville District, a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The home was constructed in 1854 by a wealthy widow Patience Champion, in the Italianate style popular in the 19th century.

The house has two stories, 12 foot ceilings throughout, and a front entry with original hand-painted wood grain still intact.
