It must first be said that the last residents of Champion House, David and Andrea Cox, did an incredible amount of work on the house. High Pressure A/C systems, modern electical, heated bathroom and kitchen floors, foundation work, and much more. Without the efforts they put into it, it would not have been something I can take on.
That being said, its appropriate to say The Champion House Project resumed in 2021. I purchased it not knowing exactly what I was going to do with it – Over the next months the plan evolved, which was to move into it, rent my own house out, and work on it over time, with the goal of tuning Champion House into an Air BNB and Venue space which showcases local history.
