Champion House Project

A long-term restoration project focused on preserving and living in an 1854 Belleville home.

Champion House is being restored as a lived-in historic home rather than a quick renovation. The project balances daily maintenance, long-range preservation, and documenting the architectural details that survived more than a century and a half.

Important systems and first-floor restoration work were already advanced by David and Andrea Cox before the current phase began in 2021. Since then, the focus has been on stabilizing the property, improving livability, and preserving original character while future room-by-room work is planned.
